We’re a family-owned farm practicing regenerative agriculture using our own goat herd to produce fertilizer. Everything we grow and create is done with sustainability and immunity in mind—from our berries to our bees.

While we aren’t USDA Certified Organic yet, we follow all organic principles and use no synthetic chemicals. We will probably apply for Certified Naturally Grown status, which is a peer-reviewed alternative tailored for small farms.

At this time, no. We are just starting out, but once we get our feet wet, we hope to welcome visitors during scheduled tours, u-pick weekends, and for workshops such as “Meet the Goats” days.

Our elderberry products are available year-round through our online shop and local retailers. Fresh elderberries are seasonal (August—September), but we dry some to produce products year-round.

Elderberry syrup is excellent mixed in beverages, drizzled across breakfast, or straight by the spoonful. As a bonus, elderberries support immunity, packed with an abundance of vitamins antioxidants. So, it tastes great and is healthy, too.

Elderberries are most commonly consumed as syrup, tea, or drizzled across various foods. We include instructions and recipe ideas for all of our products.

Yes, believe it or not, more than half of the elderberries and products sold in the United States are from European elderberries (Sambucus Nigra)—usually sourced from the Balkan Peninsula. On our farm, we grow and use in our products only American elderberries (Sambucus Canadensis). American elderberries do not need as much processing compared to European varieties that contain cyanide. And I think we all know these days that the less processing, the better!

Our elderberry farm works on a closed-loop fertilizer system from our goats. They graze, we collect their manure, compost it, and apply it to the elderberry field in the winter when the elder trees are dormant. When spring comes around, they have rejuvenated soil and all the nutrients they need to fight pests, diseases, and provide abundant fruit.

Tommy is the sassiest goat on the farm. He already thinks he is the boss, so becoming our company’s mascot seemed like the most logical next step. Trot on over to his page, if you dare.
