We are sad to see our beautiful white blossoms go, but not every flower becomes fruit in nature, not without pollinators. The fact that we have berries for the first time one these two year old plants means that our farm has jumped another hurdle, which helps to soothe the pain of losing our fragrant evening walks. But with fruit comes new challenges. Now begins the battle of the beetles. Not pictured here is us walking the field with solo cups of soap water and seeing who can collect the most beetles. #StillLoveOrganic

We like to swirl the cup when we walk because it sounds like ice clinking in a glass of ice cold lemonade, and seeing that written down, in reflection, might mean we need to spend a little less time elbow-deep in elderberry bushes. We’re losing touch with the 21st Century.

What’s the opposite of “go touch some grass”?
