Mulch, mulch, and more mulch. It didn't take an eternity, per se, but it might've taken a lite eon. We were doing mulch before work, after work, during nap times--at least goat nap times. We might've been glared at a time or two for disturbing their afternoon snooze. 

But it’s done, and it was important. Mulch is a big part of keeping down weeds and increasing production in an organic way. So, two birds, one big mulch pile.
